Shofar
One hundred blasts, sounded after the Torah reading. In 2026 the first day is Shabbat, so the shofar is heard on the second day, Sunday September 13.
Seder Simanim
The symbolic foods at the family table on the first night — each with its Yehi Ratzon, in the Sephardic order.
Tashlich
Said by the water on the first afternoon that is not Shabbat, casting off the year that was.
Selihot & Hatarat Nedarim
Selihot are said through Elul before dawn; the annulment of vows is held before a beit din of three on erev Rosh Hashanah.

Rosh Hashanah — Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year — opens the Ten Days of Repentance that close on Yom Kippur. Our tefillot are led in Sephardic nusach with the piyutim of Morocco, Syria, Iraq and Egypt, and Ashkenazi families are entirely at home with us. Seats are never sold and no one is ever turned away.
Families come from Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Coral Springs, Parkland, Deerfield Beach and Highland Beach.
