Customs of the days

Megillat Eikha: Lamentations, read on the night of Tisha B'Av by low light, sitting on the floor, in the Sephardic ta'amim.
Kinot: The elegies said after Eikha at night and again in the morning, mourning the two Temples and the exiles since.
The five restrictions: No eating or drinking, no washing, no anointing, no leather shoes and no marital relations, from sunset until nightfall the next day.
The Three Weeks: From the 17th of Tammuz to the 9th of Av. Sephardic practice keeps the mourning customs mainly in the week Tisha B'Av falls.
The Nine Days: From Rosh Hodesh Av, when many refrain from meat and wine — Sephardim from the start of the week of Tisha B'Av.
Nahem & the afternoon: Tefillin and tallit are worn at Minha, when Nahem is added to the Amida and the consolation of the day begins.
