Arriving at the hotel
Rooms are prepaid and pre-assigned
Give the front desk your family name and they will hand you the keys. The hotel cannot change room assignments. We have tried our best to honour every request, but the hotel's availability is limited.
Check in after 3:00 PM, check out Tuesday at 11:00 AM
Rooms are paid for two nights, so you are welcome to stay until Tuesday morning. Rooms are not available earlier than 3:00 PM. To check out, simply return your keys to the front desk. Mini bar drinks and any incidentals are charged to you by the hotel — please check the room before you leave.
Please do not light candles in your room
Candles are set up on the ladies' side, and we provide candles, matches and the blessings. Lighting must be finished before 7:01 PM.
Bring your own head covering, siddur and tallit
We keep only a limited number and cannot promise there will be enough for everyone. Please do not take the sidurim that belong to the synagogue.
Yizkor is Monday at 12:30 PM
If your parents or other family members have passed, please come prepared with their exact Hebrew name and their father's or mother's Hebrew name, according to your custom. See Michel Maman privately for an honorary donation.
The hazanim are conducting the service
Please do not interrupt them. Keep conversations outside the sanctuary and let everyone daven in quiet.
Three armed guards for the whole holiday
They are there for your safety and can also help open your room with the electronic key. If you see anything out of place, tell a guard or the hotel staff straight away.

- Babysitters watch children aged 5 and up. There is a separate room for parents to play with children 4 and under.
- Three playrooms, signposted by age, on the far side of the hotel behind the lobby and dining area, so the noise stays away from the sanctuary.
- Meals and snacks are set up in the older children's playroom. You may carry food to the younger room, but please keep all food out of the sanctuary.
- Everything is strictly kosher and nut free — please do not bring outside food into the playrooms or the sanctuary.
- Food and snacks are for children under 13 only. Older children should bring their own food or wait for the break-fast buffet.
- Food allergies stay the parent's responsibility. We buy allergen-free snacks where we can, but please check every item yourself. Babysitters cannot be responsible for allergic reactions.
- Toys and games are provided. Please leave electronic, musical or light-up toys, paint and messy art supplies, and anything that encourages fighting at home.
- Please do not let children run around the hotel lobby unsupervised, and check on them often. Children are only released to an adult.
Breaking the fast
The full buffet opens in the hotel dining room only once all the prayers have concluded. The security guards have been asked to hold the doors until then — please be patient with them, there is plenty of food for everyone.
Security & quiet
Three armed guards are on the property for the entire holiday. Please treat them and the hotel staff with patience — and if anything looks out of place, tell them immediately. Inside the sanctuary, please keep conversations for outside so everyone can daven.
